Clearing Up Confusion
I got a comment on the latest page of Kokkinno’s today that I want to get things cleared up.
I have not been working on Lethe- as I stated on the last page of chapter 2 — that I am putting the main story of Lethe on hiatus until I finish Aletheia.
I had just come to realize trying to do more then one at a time and trying to get pages out at a good pace was too difficult for me at the time (and still now) with work, family, stress, health etc.
(I dont know if ppl realize it really does take me 8-14 hours to draw one page of Lethe, that takes up a lot of my time)
I decided to do Kokkinos before I had ended chapter 2 and only mentioned it after debating with quite a few of my closest friends and mentors on how to go about a donation page due to my lack of funds to print ANYTHING for Lethe (people have asked if I would be selling things at cons etc. while I would LOVE to…i realistically DONT have the money to print out product. And that is how the suggestion of doing donation pages came about).
Donation pages are to me like commissions, people took time and money from their own lives and gave it to me for my product and thus I will work on Kokkinos no matter what other project I may have going at the time because in my personal opinion, if someone spends time and money out of their lives they deserve to get results as soon and to the best of my abilities.
This is why I have been posting Kokkino’s along with Aletheia but not Lethe. Because I am still holding to focusing on finishing Aletheia before I start again on Lethe (due to Lethes story getting more detailed and needing to focus much more on it). And yet still posting Kokkinos pages- because I got payment for them.
So PLEASE do not worry I am going to continue with Lethe, I PROMISE , trust me …its my baby, im not going to abandon it at all. But it will have to wait till Im done with Aletheia.
And to those that have donated for Kokkinos thank you so much, it really has helped me save up quite a bit already and move more toward my goal and dream of printing and selling at a con <3
